It's still the fastest-growing sport in America, and people's dedication to it is incredible. One of Pickleball's most appealing aspects is that anyone can play. No matter what your athletic ability or age, you can get out on the court and play.
I remember first hearing about the sport in 2017, when someone asked if I wanted to put together a team and play in a tournament. I had no idea what it was, but all I heard was that it was a hit at retirement homes. I thought I could hang with the retirees of the community, but I ended up not being able to participate.
Depending on where you live in Wyoming, your pickleball options may differ. The Wyoming Pickleball Association (WPA) is dedicated to spreading the sport across the state. They'll be hosting their 2nd Annual Paddle on the Plains Pickleball Tournament November 13 &14 in Cheyenne, and registration is open.
