Quad Cities Classic Pickleball Tournament returns Sept. 11–14

One of the Midwest’s largest and most spirited pickleball events is back this fall!

The 7th annual Quad Cities Classic Pickleball Tournament will take place Sept. 11–14 in Moline drawing players, volunteers, and fans from across the region. Hosted by the Quad Cities Pickleball Club, a nonprofit 501(c)(7) with over 800 members, the tournament is more than just a showcase of skill—it’s the club’s sole annual fundraiser, and its impact ripples far beyond the courts.

Tournament schedule and locations:
-Sept. 11–12: Matches begin at 8:30 a.m. at the Quad City Tennis Club
-Sept. 13–14: Action moves to Riverside Park (weather permitting)

In case of rain, play will remain indoors at the Quad City Tennis Club

Last year’s Classic welcomed 419 players, including 30 youth participants, and was powered by 135 volunteers—a testament to the region’s growing love for the game.

Playing for a purpose! Proceeds from the tournament fund a wide array of community initiatives:
-Free pickleball lessons for adults and kids
-Clinics and camps that reached 453 kids, 364 adults, 21 Special Olympians, and 8 adaptive players last year
-$5,000 in charitable donations to five local organizations
-Court improvements across Illinois and Iowa, including benches, wind screens, and training equipment
-Outreach programs for schools and social groups like Big Brothers Big Sisters and the Plus 60 Club
