Kids at the Fuller Center’s west Boca Raton campus have a new opportunity to learn the game of pickleball. Facilitated by a donation from the Boca West Children’s Foundation and a partnership with the newly formed National Women’s Pickleball Foundation, the center now has two new courts.
The National Women’s Pickleball Foundation has launched the center’s pickleball program as one of their first local initiatives since starting the nonprofit. The organization is dedicated to empowering individuals through the sport of pickleball. Focused on community-building, education, and physical fitness, the foundation provides resources, programs, and events that uplift communities and enrich the sport itself.
CBS12 News morning anchor Sam Kerrigan and StormTrac Meteorologist Lauren Olesky spent the morning at the Fuller Center checking out the new courts.
