Albany – The Storm Cellar, 25 Champlain St. in downtown Albany, has one indoor court on an indoor multi-use gym with a synthetic floor. Cost is $5 per person or $20 per hour.
Albany – UAlbany: The university painted pickleball lines on two tennis courts on the main campus.
Bethlehem: The town of Bethlehem has ripped up several tennis courts at Elm Avenue Park and has created an asphalt pad that will be home to 10 dedicated pickleball courts. Completion date unknown.
Clifton Park: A large pickleball venue with 10 courts is near completion in Clifton Park. Town Supervisor Phil Barrett posted photos of the court construction at Veterans Memorial Park and said the courts might be ready by the end of May 2024.
Colonie – Mohawk River Park: The new pickleball courts at the park, next to the Colonie town pool, are complete and will open any second. There are 8 new dedicated courts. The park has a guard shack at the entrance and non-residents must pay $10 per car to enter. Colonie residents can get in for free if they obtain a “fob” from the Colonie Parks & Recreation Office located at 71 Schermerhorn Road. They must show proof of residency. Colonie residents that don’t have a fob, must pay $2 per car to enter.

Schodack: Town Supervisor Charles Peter told Pickleball518 that Schodack is very interested in creating pickleball courts in town. The supervisor said the town hopes to install one dedicated court with permanent nets at the Schodack Town Park, possibly by the end of this Summer 2024. The town also plans to discuss installing a new basketball court in a park and painting lines for pickleball that could be used with portable nets. The basketball/pickleball court is only in the discussion stage.
Scotia: The Jason Morris Judo Center expanded added a court so the facility now has two dedicated pickleball courts. It costs $7 per person to play for two hours. You can reach out about renting the space here: https://www.realjudo.net/pickleball/
Pittsfield, Mass: Bousquet Sport in the Berkshires opened 4 new dedicated indoor pickleball courts and will have 6 courts total by the fall. Bousquet uses https://playtimescheduler.com/index.php for all drop-in play and clinics.
