Pickleball continues to be among the fastest growing sports in Las Vegas, and court space is at a premium. The city currently has 25 pickleball courts that are seemingly always in use. To provide additional opportunities a new regional pickleball complex is planned for Wayne Bunker Park in Ward 4.
The new facility will boast 25 new pickleball courts doubling the total amount of playing areas in the city. It is also planned to have bleachers, and two center courts that will have additional seating. The project will also include shade structures, lighting, restrooms, concessions locations and new parking lots.
Construction is scheduled to begon on the facility in 2025, and it will be located in the Southwest corner of the park. The city’s current pickleball court locations include:
Two at Centennial Hills Park;
Seven at Durango Hills Park;
Four at Police Memorial Park;
Four at Bill Briare Park;
Four at Justice Myron Leavitt & Jaycee Community Park; and
Four at Aloha Shores Park.
