Mayor Paul Montgomery recently proclaimed the week of April 20 as Pickleball Week in Kingsport. Members of the local pickleball club, PIVOT (Pickleball In Virginia Or Tennessee) and others gathered to thank the mayor. This event was part of others held during the month of April, which was National Pickleball Month.
Kingsport offers a variety of pickleball courts, including at the V.O. Dobbins Sr. Complex, Riverview Park and Riverwalk Park.
