New pickleball courts are popping up all over the Tri-Cities, highlighted by the recent opening of four pickleball courts in Mt. Carmel. Below is a list of the pickleball courts, inside and outdoors, that are or soon will be available in our area.
As you read this list, I want to thank the local municipalities for their investment in the health and well-being of their constituents. Moving forward, expanding junior pickleball presents an exciting opportunity. If there were pickleball courts at more middle and high schools, students who previously did not play a sport would be able to experience the fun of playing on a team, making new friends and enjoying friendly competition. Additionally, pickleball is a wonderful way to learn life lessons such as collaboration, discipline, and resilience while playing a sport that can build lifelong healthy habits.
