The Ace Pickleball Club chain will soon be opening a 26,500-square-foot indoor pickleball facility at the Brunswick Shopping Center in North Brunswick, bringing year-round access to the growing sport in Middlesex County. Ace is expected to open in the next few months, according to Matthew K. Harding, chief executive officer of Levin Management Corporation, which serves as the leasing and managing agent for the 288,000-square-foot retail property and arranged the Ace lease.
“We look forward to Ace Pickleball opening at Brunswick Shopping Center in North Brunswick as a 26,000-square-foot facility, with plans to open in March or April,” Harding said.
Fred Younkin, a leasing representative with the company, negotiated the deal on behalf of property ownership, while Marta Villa of CBRE represented the tenant. The new location will feature premium courts and operate under the franchise’s community-focused “open play” model, which allows members to connect with other players. All-inclusive pricing will give members opportunities to learn, compete and socialize. The facility will also accommodate corporate events and parties and include a pro shop.
“Pickleball has surged in popularity in recent years, appealing to players of all ages and abilities,” Younkin said. “Ace Pickleball Club brings the sport indoors, allowing pickleball enthusiasts to enjoy an unparalleled playing experience 365 days a year.”
