LFG Tourneys Invites YOU to join us for another great tournament, the PRETZEL CITY PICKLEBALL OPEN at DILL DINKERS-READING (located within Hillcrest Tennis and Field Sports) in Reading, Pennsylvania!! This awesome venue features six (6) indoor courts with fencing in a climate-controlled environment. There will be men's and women's doubles and mixed doubles with skill levels ranging from 3.0-4.5+ with prize money for the 4.5+ divisions.
Amateur events will be a Round Robin format, guaranteeing many games. Exact number depends on number of teams in bracket. Larger brackets will be split into pools and top teams from each pool will advance to playoffs. * Amateur Men's, Women's, and Mixed Doubles events will have two age brackets and skill levels of 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, and 4.5. Games will be to 15 points, win by 2 points. The top couple teams from each pool will compete in a playoff. No come around. Bronze match will be games to 15, win by 2. Gold will be best 2 out of three. games to 11, win by 2. Medals awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers.
* Saturday, March 14th will be all levels MEN'S DOUBLES, and WOMEN'S DOUBLES, including PRO and SENIOR PRO.
* Sunday, March 15th will be all levels MIXED DOUBLES, including PRO and SENIOR PRO.
Start times will not be announced until registration closes. We do this because the number of signups for each event will determine when we can start each bracket. We need to know the final number of entrants for each event in order to determine the most efficient start times to keep the day running as smoothly as possible. Start times will be released one to two days after registration closes and may be subject to change due to any unforeseen circumstances.
