Peter Ramsey, M.D.

Dr. Peter Ramsey, a Duke University and Georgetown University graduate, specializes in orthopedic surgery with a focus on joint replacement. Pioneering direct anterior total hip replacement in the Grand Strand, he has performed this surgery nearly 5,000 times. As a leader in joint replacement, Dr. Ramsey founded the Joint Replacement Program at Conway Medical Center and emphasizes outpatient surgery, conducting over 90% of procedures in specialized centers. He shares his expertise through lectures, lab sessions, and hosting visiting surgeons.
