Matthew E. Lovell, M.D.

Dr. Matthew Lovell is an orthopedic surgeon specializing in minimally invasive surgery of the hip, knee, and shoulder. He is dedicated to using advanced surgical techniques to help patients recover quickly and return to their favorite activities. Dr. Lovell is skilled in anterior hip replacement, partial knee replacement and robotic-assisted knee replacements as well as shoulder surgery.

Board-certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, Dr. Lovell has been with Southern Indiana Orthopedics since 2013 and has performed over 1,000 hip, knee, and shoulder replacement surgeries. Outside of surgery, Dr. Lovell also offers treatments like cortisone injections and orthobiologics for nonsurgical healing.
