James O. Merritt, IV, M.D.

Dr. James Merritt, a native of Myrtle Beach, has been practicing orthopedics in the community since 2005. He graduated with honors from Wofford College with a bachelor's degree in biology before earning his Doctor of Medicine degree from the Medical University of South Carolina. Dr. Merritt completed his general surgery internship and orthopedic surgery residency at the same institution. He is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.
