Gregory M. Mathien, MD

Dr. Gregory Mathien is a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon at Knoxville Orthopaedic Clinic specializing in sports medicine. He serves as the senior team orthopaedic surgeon for the University of Tennessee athletic programs and has cared for numerous collegiate, professional, and Olympic athletes. Dr. Mathien has a special interest in national research on ACL revision surgery. He is dedicated to helping athletes of all levels recover safely and return to peak performance.
